The Tom Prince Cancer Trust wants to say a great big thank you to the whole of Portsmouth for getting so involved with Blue Day. It was such a success that Blue2Day was quickly organised and the support this received was again astonishing!

Money is still trickling in but so far the two events have collectively raised in excess of £80,000. This is a tremendous step towards our goal to raise a million pounds. The two events have also helped to spread the name of the trust throughout the wider community and inspired people to organise other fundraisers for the trust!

We still cant believe just how many individuals and businesses got onboard, the enthusiasm was amazing as the whole city really did turn blue! Thank you to everyone who participated and to the Evening News for providing the event with so much publicity and coming up with the idea!

If you have any photographs from Blue Day or Blue2Day please email them to the trust and we will endeavour to make a photo gallery. There are also lots of pictures of the two events on the Evening News’s website if you want to have a look.

It was so great to see the community really rallying together, supporting Portsmouth football team and the trust, and creating a carnival-like atmosphere! We are so proud of our winning football team and our generous city. Thank you again!

Welcome to the Tom Prince Cancer Trust website.

Thanks for your interest; we hope you find the site useful and informative. The trust was established in 2004 and was set up in the memory of Tom Prince.

The aim of the trust is to raise funds for research into the teenage bone cancer Osteosarcoma. We also hope to make some provision for teenage cancer sufferers undergoing treatment.

This family run charity has received great support from friends and the local community. We are continuously fundraising at a local level but also need to expand to a wider audience to increase awareness and support.

We hope that by visiting this site and seeing what we are all about, you are inspired to get involved and help us to reach our goal!

Thank you, from all those involved in the Tom Prince Cancer Trust
